2. What data we process
At registration and in the app:
- Full name (required)
- Email address (required)
- Nickname and avatar (optional)
- Phone number, Telegram handle (optional)
- Gender and date of birth (for age verification)
- Geolocation — with your permission; coordinates are not shared with other users, only approximate distance is shown
- Telegram chat_id — only when you voluntarily connect Telegram notifications
- Push subscription identifiers — only when you enable browser push notifications
When using platform features:
- Search queries (stored 90 days)
- Message history (stored indefinitely per legal requirements)
- Ratings and reviews
- Device and browser type (for service functionality)
When visiting the landing page www.localand.pro:
- Hashed IP address (irreversible; raw IP not stored), country, region, city
- Email, country and city — when submitting a waitlist form
3. Telegram integration
Connecting Telegram notifications is entirely voluntary. When connected, we store your chat_id. The bot only delivers Localand event notifications and has no access to your Telegram messages. You can disconnect at any time in profile settings or by blocking the bot. Blocking the bot automatically removes your chat_id from our database.

- Messaging between users
- Delivering new message notifications (push, Telegram, email)
- Forming ratings and reviews
- Improving search algorithms and service catalog
- Security and fraud prevention
- Legal compliance
5. Third-party data sharing
We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with:
- Telegram Inc. — when Telegram notifications are connected
- Resend — email delivery service
- ip-api.com — landing page visitor geolocation (IP is queried from our server, not client)
- Government authorities — as required by applicable law
Data is stored on servers in Europe with full-disk encryption (LUKS).
6. Retention periods
- Search queries — 90 days
- System logs — 2 years
- Account data — until deleted by user or upon request
- Push subscriptions — until browser permission is revoked
- Telegram chat_id — until integration is disconnected
